Entry & Door Use
- ✓ The front door is the only working door — please use it for all entry and exit.
- ! The back door is for emergency use only.
- ↔ Please use two hands when opening the door to ensure smooth operation.
🌙 Locking at Night
- 1Lock the door from the outside.
- 2Turn the red dial on the inside for added security.
🔐 When You Leave
Whenever you leave the bus, please be sure to lock the door and take the keys with you.

Check-Out Instructions
Upon departure, please return the keys to the same hook where you found them at check-in.
Water Usage
- 💧 Water comes from a well and is filtered and treated throughout the bus.
- 🥤 For drinking and cooking, we recommend using the provided water jug.
Windows, Ventilation & Roof
Do not open any windows using the red emergency handles. If opened, you will be responsible for the cost of technicians from Dallas to reset them.
- ✓ There are two rooftop hatches available if you'd like fresh air.
- ! Please close them when finished or before leaving to keep animals out.
- 🚫 Do not get on the roof of the bus.
Linens & Towels
Extra towels and linens can be found in the hallway closet.
Workspace Amenities
A computer monitor is available in the hallway closet if you'd like to plug into your laptop for a dual-screen setup.
HVAC & Climate Control
There are three HVAC zones throughout the bus, each controlled by its own mini-split unit.
Using the Remotes
- 📡 Remote controls are hanging on the wall close to each mini-split unit.
- ↗ Point the remote directly at the unit and adjust as needed.
- ! Any mini-splits that are turned on must all be set to the same mode — Heat, Cool, or Auto — for them to operate correctly together.
❄️ Defrost Mode (Heating)
When using the heater, the units will automatically enter defrost mode every few hours. The display will show "dF" during this cycle.
- 🌬️ During defrost, the unit will blow cool air for a couple of minutes before returning to normal heating — this is completely normal.
- ! Please do not adjust any settings during defrost mode — allow it to complete the cycle on its own for proper operation.
Fire Pit Guidelines
- ↔ Keep the fire pit as far from the bus as possible to prevent smoke and ensure fire safety.
- 🪵 Firewood is available behind the shed.
- 🪣 A bucket is provided — fill it with water to fully extinguish the fire at the end of the night.
- ! Do not leave fires unattended, and ensure all fires are completely out before leaving.

First aid kit is located in the cubbyhole by the shower.

An emergency ladder is available in the hallway closet if needed.
